PowerGlove / Foufounes Electriques / Montréal / 16 April 2022
This tour date happened as a nice coincidence for me. I had to shoot an event for a school assignment, and Immortal Guardian and PowerGlove were making a stop in Montréal at the perfect timing. It was a hometown gig for Justin Piedmonte (drummer for Immortal Guardian/A History of Flying Objects), and I was ready for a good show at Foufounes Electriques. The opener was a local band called Uriel, who are in the first gallery below.

Immortal Guardian
Immortal Guardian was the tour opener for PowerGlove, as they share guitarist/keyboardist extraordinaire Gabriel Guardian. They were on tour to promote their new album Psychosomatic, and even premiered a song that they wrote during the tour on called Ozona.
PowerGlove
PowerGlove, if you didn’t know, is a metal band that primarily covers music from video games and TV shows from the late 80s and early 90s. I believe the tour was postponed at least once due to the pandemic, and it was great to see them shred some classics like Tetris, X-Men, and Inspector Gadget.
